In Class

In class we are continuing with sound checking, last week (Feb 12, 2017) Professor Stewie did a full soundcheck on drums. This week we are adding  guitar, bass and vocals; basically a full band soundcheck.  We have some musicians helping out this week, below is their BIO's.

playing bass guitar 40 yrs  hired as studio musician for vaious bands in kw area , also works as a last minute fill in for live bands.
is currently subbing and playing for local bands FACTORY CITY   MIKE MEECHER BAND , SAD MICKIE, THE CARDINALS
attended the Victor Wooten nature camps ( bass workshops)   taught at the 4th time he attended
can be found playing at THE KIWI gastropub thursdays for OPEN MIC nights with Mike Meecher band.

all started at age 5 entered the kiwanis music festival in elmira...judge had to lean close to hear me sing. i was the only one who entered the class for that age group i won first prize.  the rest is history
sang in school every chance i got  drama class  plays thru public school 
high school  choir   church choir 10 yrs  ( learned harmonies)
fall fairs  hospitals retirement homes malls i sang wherever they let me
local television spots as a teenager contests, took voice lessons 6 yrs
backup vocals for various bands  The Black 'forest Band
studio work for Milky White and The Bluesmen 
played local bars 
fronted 4 bands including Parallex with brad marshall
Sidinex with phil x before he was phil x
the Lloyd Mercey band
performed with various groups  Grand Harmony Chorus
private events thru the charcaol group and other coporate venues

Our special guest this week is John Bailey.  John is a recording engineer from New Hamburg Ontario.  He has been nominated for several Juno Awards for Recording Engineer Of The Year.
